A treasured piece of Ranger, Texas History! The blue print, as drawn up by the famous architect David S. Castle from Abilene, Texas. In 1918-1919 Ranger was hailed as the greatest metropolis of West Texas. Ranger started the year out with 476 students swelling to over 1500 by years end with projections as high as 2500 for the following year. The remedy was three new permanent Schools. One block for construction donated by Mr. Joe Young and one block donated from Mr. Cooper. Thus the creation of Young School, now Restoration Fields Farm and it's twin that has since been demolished, Cooper School, located on what is now Ranger Collage's Campus.

Help us sow the seeds of restoration and fix up this 104-year-old school and make our community blossom.
